Jennings United Methodist Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a
five-year old child, a ninety-five-year-old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at the
Jennings Methodist Church.
 

Children’s Ministry

We have a VBS Program every Summer, and we do offer Sunday School for children also on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. We also have Children’s sermons on every Sunday in worship except communion Sunday to get children involve in worship!

 

Youth Ministry Program

Each Sunday morning, youth get to participate in Sunday School. We open Sunday school time in the Sanctuary at 9:15. Our Youth program is on Sunday evenings from 4:00-5:30pmp.m. Youth in grades 5th-12th are invited to attend. 5th-8th our Jr. High Program is led by Sarah Crochet & Erin Precht. 9th-12th Sr. High program is led by Crystal Benoit & Kim Precht. Our youth attend many different types of events throughout the year and every summer for the past 12 years we go on a summer trip whether it be Mission or Spiritual. Our youth director is Crystal Benoit which has been leading our youth for the past 10 years as director. Jennings Methodist Small Group Ministries: 

 

 Sunday School Class 

Every Sunday morning at 9:15, all women & Men are invited to join us for Sunday School. The class meets in the classroom downstairs and is currently led by Jacquie Prielipp. We would invite anyone who is interested in coming to Sunday school to come and join us. 

 

 Methodist Women’s Group

The Methodist women are a group of women who normally meet every other 2nd Thursday of the month at 11:30 a.m. They meet for a light lunch, they are involved with various missions through the church and the community.

 

Men’s Class Sunday School

The men’s Sunday school class meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. The class is currently meeting in the fellowship hall and is led by Richard McGregor. 

 

Women’s Bible Study

We currently have a Women’s Bible Study group that meets on Wednesdays. We will begin a new study series titled Forgiving What You Can’t Forget. Our small group provides an environment that encourages growth, study, sharing, and prayer. This time offers a chance to fellowship with other Christian women in an environment that fosters learning and the building of great friendships. Our group has meets on Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m.
