Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ
who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly.
Leadership Team:
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal are to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Sarah Crochet, Worship Leader & Pre-Teen Ministries & Lay Leader
Sarah Crochet was born in Ontario, OR and moved to Leesville, LA at the age of 4 when her father was assigned to active duty at FT. Polk. She graduated from Leesville High School and attended McNeese State University. Sarah graduated from MSU with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. In the winter of 2001, Sarah began her position as Worship Leader at Jennings Methodist Church where she has served since. For nearly 6 years after graduating from MSU, she worked as an operating room nurse. After the birth of her fourth child, Sarah decided to stay home with her children. In the fall of 2012, Sarah accepted the position of music teacher at her town’s elementary schools. She has been married to her husband, Joshua, since May of 2001. They share four children, two girls and two boys.
Jacquie Prielipp, Organist
Jacquie currently serves our church as our church organist. She attended the University of Michigan, where she majored in choral music and organ, and previously served 25 years as the choir director and pianist for the First United Methodist Church in Leesville. She is also certified in gifted and elementary education, and have taught vocal music, gifted education, and third grade. She is currently teaching third grade math at Lake Arthur Elementary School and gives piano lessons after school. She is the proud mother of three children, William, Amanda, and Sarah, our choir director, and Nana to 11 grandchildren, ranging in age from 3 to 19. Our lives are blessed by serving others, and she has appreciated many roles of ministry, including Sunday school, VBS, and on Walk to Emmaus and Kairos Teams. Having only been in Jennings 4 years, she appreciates the ministry opportunities at Jennings Methodist Church, playing the organ, singing with the choir and Praise Team, and helping out in any areas where needed. As many of us, I have faced some difficult struggles in the past. Thanks be to God for his comforting scripture and a Savior who is my close friend! My favorite bible verse is Romans 5:3-5 We also boast in our sufferings, knowing produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
